Are there any electronics in them? Can they be amplified?

There is an acoustic pickup option at time of ordering.

And, you can get a Fishman pickup that is essentially a tape strip that sits underneath the saddle in the bridge. A wire feeds through the guitar and the jack is through the end-pin.

No eq but I think Fishman makes an external preamp that you can clip to your strap. I am looking into that.

Mine is amplified that way and I've played it live with a full band.

So, Bill, would you consider selling your six string? If so, we can continue this conversation off line. My e-mail address is [email protected]. I'm a serious buyer with the funds to move on this immediately if we agree. Let me know. Thanks.

Unfortunately, they're not for sale. I play them quite a bit. By the way, Fishman makes a great sounding blend pickup that wedges into the sound hole. It's got a mic that you can blend with the magnetic pickup. Great for those who don't want to drill into their guitar. I love mine.
Cheers,
Bill

Hey Bill...I understand completely. But, if you would ever change your mind, especially on the dreadnought, please keep me in mind. Or, if you ever hear of one that's available, I'd appreciate a heads-up. Thanks.

Bill: Just gorgeous photos of your acoustics. Can you please comment on the tonality of each?

I recently found out that the Music Zoo received a 700 Comstock in Montezuma Brown. It had been presold. BUT they had ordered two. I reserved that one for myself, yee-haw!

John ALWAYS has inside information! Image

Mark, I will be trying to order a 730L BBR E3 from Mike Parks shortly; if I do wind up getting it (in 12-18 months from the time of order!) I may be interested in selling my 730L MG. We will see what the future holds.

Gary: How about a soundbyte of the 730L? If you aren't up for it, just send your guitar to me and I will do it for you. Image
