Wasn't someone looking for a Laredo?

This looks like an opportunity to score a nice Laredo and avoid "The Wait".

Hopefully the person who special ordered it and is now selling it is doing so because the bass didn't meet some preconception... not because something's wrong with it!
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

That is an exremely nice loking bass....wonder why he waited a year for it then decided to sell it after 10 hours play time?

My initial reaction is the neck is not as he imagined...what are he necks like on Laredos' compared to a 4003?

North Coast Music has a fireglo Laredo in stock, so says their website.

I was looking for one...bought it from POTR's earlier in the month.

The one in Colorado looks like it could have been had cheaper than the $1230 I paid...but I didn't really want a blue one. Originally I was gassing for a mapleglo, but eventually found a fireglo.

The one in New Jersey has been listed a couple of times before...and no one bid (I think). Again, I guess I could have saved a C note or so, but that one is a couple of years old-and if it does get auctioned off it would be a little more expensive than the Colorado one.

Funny about the Colorado one...my step daughters Dad lives in Durango. But it would be a while until he came down this way or Amanda went out there. Strictly a useless coincidence.

Anyway, I scored my new axe, I love it, and I know I'm the only owner it has had. Image
