Butter flavored knock-off

Sheesh.

"..it was hand crafted by a former guitar builder from the rick factory in california, but built here in minnesota,so it's actually not a rick, but who could tell.... the truth is,it's built much better.."

What a dolt.

Also I would LOVE to know- because I have never tried it- what is it like to play butter? Can it even be done for any reasonable amount of time? Butter is not durable, is poorly suited to accept strings, and probably has a pretty muddy sound I'd wager.

So, I wonder exactly how many former Rickenbacker factory builders live in Minnesota?

Time to open that file again, I'm afraid.

Sorry, I can't take any credit on this one, guys.I'm thinking whoever did this one was maybe the person who did that Wendy chicks guitar in Princes band. She had some weird deal that had a Rick neck on it.Lots of indie repair/woodworker guys in this town, some whom I've met.

It's a shame Mr. Hall has to waste his time dealing with this type of ****....

knock-knock.....yes, may I help you?

"Yes, Ma'am , we're agents Staberow and Pappas of RICinspect...we're here to investigate the 'faker you're attempting to sell on a well-known auction website...please step aside, Ma'am...and show us this chunk of wood you claim to be "better" than the original..."

...that's "butter" than the original, dude...drop a couple of active Parkays in it, run it through a Land-o'-Lakes processor into a 400W Oleo, and you'll be wearing a suddenly-materialized crown in no time!

Plus I don't want butter anywhere near my genuine RICs. That's not a knock - I like toast, crumpets, jam, etc. as much as the next man.

With a eunuch of a lead singer. I saw them once on TV. The guy was very large to have such a silly voice.

Silly voice, stupid song: it's part of how we countered the British Invasion.

British Invasion...oh, yeah, I remember it well..."What did you do in the war, daddy?"...gee, thinking back on all those Ric's that made it over there in the sixties, we sort of sold them the guns to shoot us with...Rickenbackers, African-American musicians, etc: if them Brits hadn't have beaten us, we might still not know what's cool about America today...sometimes losing's better than winning...
