Neck Hi-Gain a bit bassy...fixes?
The neck pickup on my 360/6 with hi-gains is very bassy, almost muffled at times. I've read several other threads where this was mentioned as well. Anything I can do to brighten the tone a bit, other than a swap for a toaster?

My 330 arrived (used) with that cap mod, actually. I liked the sound of the neck hi-gain with the cap - it's somehow sweeter. I think of it as having a 'honey tone' but I'm not sure why, exactly. But more than one friend of mine used the word honey to describe the sound, which is interesting. I took the cap out a while back, and now it's definitely bassier, but it still sounds good to me. My 330 is now back to basically stock, but it's an easy mod to put back and sometimes I think about doing just that.
Sean: You can also try a fix mentioned here.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
