The first one is a sweetie. Mine was made a few months after this one in June of 1980. The coloring is even similar. They are usually not that clean as this one, for some reason. I think this bass represents a chance to own a very nice example of Autumnglo. Perhaps someone here will snag it.
The second one is a prime example of bad trussing technique. That is, not setting the neck before turning the nuts. It is completely fixable but not worth nearly as much as the first one.

Gorgeous finish. The fly in the ointment is the bridge. With the light finish though a repair may not be so noticeable. What do you say bass luthiers?
