I hate this forum!!!!!!

Post by highway_star »

It wasn't enough that I started with a 4003. That was okay. Then I learned about all the other fine basses Rickenbacker made and bought a few of them. Then I found a wonderful 381v69 and love it. Now I'm looking for a 12-string.

I hate you guys Image!!!!!!!!

I know what you mean.....what started out as an innocent interest in a Beatle related field of Rickenbacker has mushroomed into a whole new world for me....

I can't go more than a couple of hours without checking into this blasted forum..... Image

I just keep a "WorldCom purchase confirmation" in the room with my guitars, and I feel a whole lot better.

I predict a 360/12 in your future. Then again, I had Wake Forest winning the NCAA Tourney, so my clairvoyant powers may be a bit off.

Nope, but I will tomorrow. Don't worry, we'll just talk about which 12 string you should buy next!

Speaking of 12-string Ric's and NCAA basketball....

I just got my new 660/12 in tonight, via UPS. Unfortunately, I live in Central Illinois and am a big University of Illinois fan, and my wife and I already had a gamenight party planned for tonight's game....

Well, the Illini won (thank God!), and after the get-together, I opened the case on the 660/12 (it's just as well that I waited the 6 hours, for the bass in the case to warm up to room temp).

I am going to post a review tomorrow, after I get a chance to plug it in and kick the tires a bit, but OMG - what a nice guitar! The neck is absolutely Perfect, in terms of width, depth, and comfort. And it is a stunning guitar.

Sorry for the teaser, I promise pics and a review tomorrow. Just don't forget the 660/12 in your 12-string search!

Oops, I meant the guitar in the case. I am a bassist first, too, so it's 'on the brain'.
