Hard rock café guitar pins

Post by dannyboy »

Since 1994, I've been lucky enough to fly all over the world with my Squadron. And myself and a couple of friends made a deal: if there is a Hard Rock Cafe in the viscinity of the deployment, we get each other (for those who stayed behind at home) a guitar pin.
So my buddies were in New Orleans for the last couple of weeks and they brought me back my guitar pin...and to my great surprise, it was a real nice Rickenbaker 325 with an old street lamp like the ones we find in the French Quarters!
I must have 30 pins in my collection but it's the first time that I get a Ric and I'm very happy about it. Didn't know they were making them!
So next time I'm in a Hard Rock, I'll be watching for those Ric pins!
Sorry to bother you with my dull story but I'm just like a big kid...what can I say!!! :P

I have a 450 and gave a freind a 4001 both from Stockholm. They were gifts to me from another forum member. I tried getting a Byrdland from the Detroit cafe but missed the short run. I beleive that you can buy them on line when they are available.
