It has a German carve vibe to me that harkens back to earlier times but has the star fret markers that offer something more contemporary.

Let me know if I can help Tony. Remember, keep the photos 500 X 500 pixels and 36K.

the oak leaves are very reminiscent of leaves on military insignia and Lemmy is a bigtime WWII collector (mainly nazi stuff).

Tony has to come to the Confluence in May and bring the LK just for Brian to drool over! Image

...now that is uncalled for and rather cruel Image

Besides I'm sure I'll have mine by then anyway (typed as I cry since I know it is but a faint hope)

edit: Maybe Doug, Steve and I will have our LK's (along with Tony's) and we can can give the 4005's a run for the money for "Poster Child of the Confluence"

Most attractive. While I still lean toward the smooth surfaces of the 4001/4003 this is something you are not going to see everyday to be sure. Thanks for these Jared.

Yes, they look much better in those photos. How are those pickups wired? I assume mid and bridge with toggle up, all in middle and neck toggle down?
I also assume they all go to 11 on Lemmy's bass. And finally isn't that Lemmy's signature wave?
