I assume your eek is because of what your pics did to the width of this thread? Hit enter after uploading each pic and that will cure the problem.

As far as the nameplate (TRC).....just paint it. I used some Krylon spray paint made for plastic to paint mine then after trying several other methods ended up using a silver leaf paint pen to do the Rickenbacker script. It came out great and wasn't a chore at all....

Good idea! I never thought of that! Nice 4008 too. I don't know if they have the spray paint for plastic here though... I'll look around.

Thanks......I would imagine any spray paint would work as long as the surface is prepped well (cleaned/lightly sanded) since it's not like the piece will be flexing much.

Krylon will work well on plastics, and binds itself to the original finish so it won't peel. Comes in a good range of colours as well ... all you need do is make sure the surface is clean.

I'll look tomorrow.... no car at home right now. I'll have to wait another month on the pickguard and pickup cover too, heh. Now does anyone know where I could get tuners for the thing?
