The new color is officially "Desert Gold". A picture of it is here: Image

It looks silver to me, but according to John Hall the finish changes based on the lighting. I'd love to check it out in person.

This is the Desert Gold finish in a different lighting. This finish is going to be difficult to capture.

How about a darker burst such as AutumnGlo, or even a BlackGlo (not to be confused with JetGlo!). I hate the solid colours, but love the bursts.

I think it would be cool to bring back the older Autumnglo from the late '50's/ early 60's....or how 'bout something like 'Honeyglo'--like a translucent amber-to-natural burst...This would look great, especially with figured wood.

AUTUMNGLO and Honeyglo sound like winners to me! I had a 360 in AUTUMNGLO that I F O O L I S H L Y traded...I think it was the last year for that finish...I love it more than the FIREGLO (too pink) and Jetglo just doesn't have the pazzazz anymore. Am I just getting OLD? HELP! AL A.

Fireglo IMO tends to look better as the wood ages and yellows just a bit---look the color of George Harrison's first 360/12 now compared to how it looked when it was new--its just time that makes them look the way they do.

Yeah, the more I think about it, Honeyglo on a quilted maple top......Sweet.

Well I guess HoneyGlo it is. Someone better tell John Hall that we have decided, and saved him the hassle of complicated board meetings and color proposals, as well as the expense of market research.
