Rickenbacker 360 1968 MINT!

Post by mac »

So There is a small town guitar store by me going out of business. I go in today and see a mint 1968 360 on the wall. Unbelievable! The sound was perfect. He wants 1,995 for it. Is this a deal??

Neil...can only tell you this much, right now CME has a '68 360 for 3995, very stiff. Yours sounds pretty good to me but I'm no expert. Far from it. What color is it?

If this guitar is what you say it is, then yeah, that is a good deal! It's even a great deal!

It's a Mapleglo. The owner said the guy who is selling it has had it since he was a teenager but would rather part with it and get a Gibson SG! What a fool.

I'd buy it for that no problem, and I'm a vintage dealer...

Neil, try Bank of Howard.

Would that Matchless be a six or a twelve string?

I had a Matchless when I was a student. It made a lovely noise, and leaked a lot of oil.....

Sorry, Neil. The Bank of Howard only lends up to $3.00 (that'll get you half a long black in SF!!)

They have a potential customer over here anyway, so they're short of funds too!!
