Ever since someone posted a picture of a 330 blueburst, i have been tempted to spend my tax refund check on one. My wife would be absolutely livid, but maybe it would be worth it.

You would have a Blue Burst guitar and a Fireglo wife.

I think the "Fireglo" finish is one of the most beautiful finishes in all guitardom. However, just for variety, if I were to buy another Ric, I believe it would be Mapleglo...

No brainer. BBR.

Although if yer into Beatles tributes, JG is the obvious choice.

I almost wish I had waited a year and gotten a BBR instead of a Montezuma 660/12.

Crikey, John...... I'd wait a year (in fact, a hell of a lot longer) for the 660/12 MB!! I'm glad you said 'almost'.......

Alex: What can we say, Fireglo harkens back to the early days and it may be the first image that most people have on their mind when they hear of a Rickenbacker guitar or bass.

Famous artists lead to Jetglo and it has now become highly sought after.

Blueburst is still very new and it may take a number of exposures before it is cemented in the folds of our temporal lobes as a Rickenbacker colour. Some finishes are more photogenic than others and I am still waiting for a series of photos that gives us a true appreciation of it.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
