I've become a mobile billboard (thanks to a well known forum member).

Anybody else showing their allegiance? (in an automotive sense, that is.....)

Howard: Just what " is on the move?"

A fireglo Rickenbacker theme on the license plate mounting frame might also be an idea.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

"On The Move" is the latest slogan that the Victorian state government puts on licenses plates. The previous one was "The Garden State" - replaced by the current Government who know it's the sort of decisive, innovative thinking on a vital topic that the taxpayers hunger for.

Here in Queensland "The Sunshine State" is now "The Smart State".

I can feel it doing me good already.

Being a pro musician with a van, I try not to advertise what's inside, but I'm desperate to stick my bumper sticker on something.....any ideas?
'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

Tony: Your guitar cases is perhaps the most obvious.

On the move is right, Lee. Straight down the 'S' bend!! Oh dear....... I feel a movement coming on.........

At least you've got a Premier with some brains (and balls!!) and some respect for the taxpayers!! The ****** we've got down here wouldn't have a clue, much less the d***heads under him!

Think about it! A 'fast train' project that will save you three minutes on an hour and a half trip with a budget of $80 million that's now over a billion!! Land taxes crippling business with increases of between 1000 and 4000 percent over the last three years. Unions running the state by holding the building industry to ranson. Graft and corruption rife while the piddling government hasn't got the guts to start an inquiry or two!!

They're called the 'mirror' government because of their stock answer........ 'we'll look into it' - sheesh!!

I tell ya, Mexico's lookin' pretty good right about now!!

S**t! Just fell off my soapbox and spilt my beeyah!!

AND ANOTHER THING.............!!

Next time I won't sugarcoat my feelings...... be warned!!

I quite like the satin Jetglo finish on the frames, Peter. I was thinking of Fireglo fuzzy baubles around the back window (we call that elephant dandruff down here) or maybe a rockin' Lennon on the rear parcel shelf!!

I fully understand, Tony. Collect enough and you could make a dress out of them (if you're into that sort of thing!). Did you see the Aussie bird who wore a dress to the Oscars that was made entirely out of gold Amex cards?

Alternately, how big is your forehead? Image

Crikey!! Time for a Prozac, cup of tea and a good lie down........

BTW, Paul..... thanks again, mate!

Oh, I see it was in the first sentence. I've also hesitated to put musical stickers on my bumpers, especially Rickenbacker.

I put one on my very dark blue SAAB for a few weeks. You could only see the lettering. Almost everybody thought it was the dealer I bought the car from. Then I wore the t-shirt and really confused them.

The SAAB now wears my spare white TRC from the 381, complete with chrome phillips head screws.

Anthony, put the sticker on the inside of the toilet lid and you'll see it when . . . well, nevermind.
