I'm getting my bass

Post by dannyboy »

Well guys, I thought about getting an old one for a long time but when I saw that brand new 4003 at POTR, I just couldn't help it. 5 minutes ago, I placed my money on it. It's a brand new one and I will be the one who puts the milleage on it and the heck with the rest. It's the bass of my dream and it's Jetglo... wooooo! Soon I will be playing with it and I'm just going nuts!!
Even my wife is telling me to calm down...what can I say...I've waited 25 years to get one like that!!! Cheers! Image

Wow!!! Congratulations!
25 years?! That's a long time!
I only waited 11 years to be able to afford a 4003, and I ordered it last week, so it'll be 11years and 3 months before I can lay my fingers on it... I guess my fiancée would understand your wife Image
but still... 25 years... wow!
Yes, I played one... and I know!

The new 4003's are great playing and sounding basses too, if I could only have one it would be a new one.

Congrats on teh new purchase! BEware, they can get addictive. Trust me, I bought a 4003 back in October and the basses seem to multiply like rabbits around my house. And worse, yet, their cousins, the 6 and 12-string guitars, are starting to show up.
If you think all is going well, you've obviously overlooked something.

Well played, Dannyboy.

4003s are great Ric workhorses, look sleek in Jet!
