Case for Cheyenne

Post by redvette »

I acquired my Cheyenne without a hard case. I wonder if the so called "universal" fit hard case by SKB (SKB 44) will fit a Rickenbacker.

Much as I like the RIC case that came with my mapleglo 4003, they are a bit pricey.

A fender p-bass or jazz wood case will fit a Ric ... they have a little extra room for the headstock ... many of those preformed plastic cases don't fit 4000 shaped basses ... try before you buy ... go to a music store and see what they have that will fit ...

... also the standard MusicMan case fits perfect, just take out one nail of support for the lower cut away and reposition it,... nail back in ... perfect and the 4001, 4002, 4003, 4004 are all fixed nicely.
