4004L Laredo, how different than a 4003?

I am finally happy with my 4004L5 bass ... I tried 7 different pickups and 6 different wiring setups ...

Now it has the original pickups and 2 1000k ohm volume pots and one 500k tone pot and no toggle ... it has treble bite and a good low end ...

We'll see where I end up with this bass in a 6 months or a year.

At least there are ample opportunities to get educated opinions here!
