Hats off, Peter!

Post by dannyboy »

Hi Peter,
I guess you must be proud of what's happening on this forum. I must say that, at first, I tought it was a great idea to start a forum on Ric because of the lack of info we had.
Now, not only the guys think like I do, but they want to show it proudly by wearing a t-shirt!!!! This is the part where I believe is important to recognize the fact that you really made a difference in this world by starting this forum. I feel like I'm part of a big family, even though I cannot put a face on the people I communicate with! And I sure hope that the forum members share my view.
This forum is different from other forums I've participated in because of the respect and humour of it's members. Hey, even the CEO of Ric puts his own two cents in here. It's nice to know that we can count on the company's CEO to answer a variety of questions from a bunch of hard core fanatics like us. And some of those questions are sometimes sooooo questionable!!!
So, hats off to you, Mr Peter McCormack! From a humble but very pleased member of the Rickenbacker Forum! Image

Thanks Dan, but I must say it is the people who visit here and take the time to express their views that have made all the difference, yourself included.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

I must agree with you for one part, but it still takes the one that will start the ball and make the difference between the " to be, or not to be"!!! Image

You've created this monster, Peter. We're all just happy to be able to live in the same cage. I'd be struggling to live without it now!

I echo everything Dan has said (and everything others no doubt will)!!

Amen to all the echoes. What a great place! Peter, out of all the various groups and forums ("fora!") on the Web that I've known, this is the place not only for all things Rickenbacker, but for humor, good vibes, and electronic friendship. You've created a (friendly) monster!

This is a cool place to hang indeed!! Peter, I must also complement you on how easy it is to post pix here (vs. other sites that require they be hosted somewhere!). It really simplifies what could be a difficult and time consuming task. This Ric site has truly changed my life! Thanks again

Peter, think I've expressed this in a previous thread (I think I even started it) but it is fun forum, and better yet it has been an education. And educating me on anything has always been difficult. The toughest five years of my life was third grade.
Great forum, great folks...take a bow.

Gotta throw my "New Member" 2 cents in too, and thank Peter for this great site. Here I am on a week's vacation roaming the American southwest and it was only today that I found a hotel with high-speed internet access. So what do I check first? My work e-mails, my home e-mails, my bank account statements? etc etc...?

No, the first thing I HAD to do was go to this forum to see what I've missed in 3 days. I guess I am hooked....

Great site Peter, I'd be lost without it.

Best site ever. It's helped me with loads of problems, tips and ideas etc and I've even made some great contacts too.

In reference to Danny Boy's first post, I think we should have a "face amnesty". Who'll go first?
