So....someone here asked recently "just what IS a bass GUITAR?"...I think this qualifies?!

It certainly does. I used to be really into old-style 6-string basses - had a Fender Bass VI and a 1960 Danelectro "tic-tac bass", both are 30" scale. I always wondered what a full-scale 6-string bass would sound like, I'll bet it sounds awesome.
