If I were going for the CCR sound, I don't think I'd butcher a brand new Ric to get it!

I believe John Fogerty once said that he got effectively the same sound out of both the modded 325 and the black LP. Didn't he use the LP on Cosmo's Factory, and pretty much everything after that?

I believe that is correct Dennis. That is what I have read and seen in their concert photos and such.
