My New Wilczynski Arrived

Post by Scastles »

My new MB arrived today....not in the habit of naming my Rics but the more I saw of Paul's MBs I figured I had to give it a moniker and the name fit. I can spell it and will work on pronouncing it.

Pix forthcoming of this jewel!

Stan, it's wil ZIN ski. Pretty easy, really. I'm flattered.

Can't wait to see pics.

I've got my eye on the MB 4003 that's on the Bay and may score it yet...

Yeah, I have played bass (Fender P and J) but not since '01.

Do some bass as well but, dare I say, I own a Precision from another manufacturer....it was given to me, I didn't buy it.

Sort of thought it was Wil Zin (zen) Ski

Not a great shot but a great MB. The Wilczynski feels like it has a wider radius than my old '91 330...but like it just the same and am glad to have a 330 back in my Ric fold

Migod. What a great color. I love how you sneaked that curly blackout into the shot...

The old 360/12 was my first Ric. It almost looks like 'birds-eye' maple in the pic. Wish it were. But wouldn't ever get rid of it, not my first one.

So, it is 'vil cheen ski'...or will we ever really know?
Kinda like the origin of buzfluhart...

Stan, the Polish pronunciation is vil cheen skee

Americanized version (the one most people use) is wil zin ski

Just don't call me late for lunch, etc. etc.
