New Microsoft Ad w/ Pic from Ric Factory
Anyone seen the new Microsoft ad running in magazines? It's a full page shot of the floor of the Rickenbacker factory (unless it's a mock up from a studio somewhere - do tell John!)...
So, is John Hall the guy upstairs in the office e-mailing the agent the endorsement contract (hey, I want one!!!) or the guy lovingly polishing the guitar behind the bench? Or someone else?
And, they've highlighted the Blue Bursts as "get new product to market in record time" too!
(Sorry, can't scan..., check virtually every mainstream consumer magazine that reaches the business crowd!)
Good on you Rickenbacker!!!!! Nothing like a little free advertising! Hey, I work in an ad agency... John you could use us - I definitely understand the Rick afficianado and I could talk quality to the dad buying for his kids!!!!!

That really is me although that's not a contract on the table there. And as Derek says, it's IBM rather than Microsoft.
It's funny actually. I told the IBM reps during the shoot I was embarassed that we had no IBM products and were surrounded by Microsoft goods. One of them said I was wrong and pointed out an old industrial IBM clock on the wall of the factory.
