Good Article on Rickenbacker

Post by rhinobass »

The February 2002 issue of Bass Player Magazine contains a good article on Rickenbacker, my only criticism is that I wish it were longer and had more detail. I believe that it is very complimentary of the way the company is run, especially in the current context of musical instrument manufacturing. I reccomed the article for a good insight into the company.

I just had a quick glance at this article over the weekend and what I saw was neat.

Due to the attention the museum at the factory was given in the article does this mean it will be open to visitors or is it already at present??? The article sounded to me as though it was open, but I may have missed something---I know we have seen more 'intense' discussions about this before on the Forum, so I thought I'd bring it up for comment from everyone.......

I thought the article said the museum was not open to the general public. Too bad, I live in San Diego, I'd love to make a drive up and take a tour.
