What a tough color to photograph. I think I'm pretty close to what this looks like in person. This is a January '79 360/12WB in Azureglo.

Bill, OMG! That is incredible.....this is only the second one I have ever seen. I recently owned the first, an '82. Excellent stuff. First the RCA and now this. Great collection Bill, keep 'em coming.

That Midnight Blue 340 looks mighty fine. Blue is my fav color.

I take them myself and clip them from the background in Photoshop. It helps that the guiatrs are mine and I care.

I can remember playing a brand-new 370/12WB in Ruby in a music store around 1982 or '83. At the time I thought it was the most elaborate Rickenbacker guitar I'd ever played....

Bill, I have Photoshop and (as long as you don't have to write a book to help) I would like to know how you clip your guitars from the background.

I just use the clipping tool & zoom in. It can be tedious. I wish I was using a better camera & lighting (I use what we have at work). It takes 15 - 20 minutes per image. The 12s are the toughest due to the machine heads. If you search the forum you'll see my other ones in the bass & guitar forums under Fresh Pics. I still have 3 or 4 to go but finding the time has been tough.

The path tool is much quicker, better and smoother, but takes some getting used to.

If you've got some contrast between the guitar and the background, use the magic wand to select and reselect (play with the tolerance), and use a 2 or 3 pixel blend option.

The above is how I did most of the t-shirt/mug images before combining them.
