Package, finally, arrived. Stellar job all the way around, Paul. Even the T-shirt is of good quality. So often you can get Tee's made out of material not much thicker than one-ply. And BTW thanks as well to Peter and John.

YIPES!! not being a bass player, I'll ask the dumb question.... what model Ric is shown in that last pic (and the one before it)? It's not the standard 4000 series body shape. It's MUCH nicer! (and I dont see it on the current Ric site)

Kent, it's the elusive and much-sought-after 4005 in both its guises. Jeff and Chris always try to post these to make us drool...

ooooooohhh.... I'm drooling and I dont even play bass.
The bass player in my band has a blond Ric 4001 and also a Fender. I'm always trying to get him to play the Ric but he gravitates to the Fender. This is the final straw! I will now have to put my foot down and force him to sell both those basses and get a 4005, even if it kills him (and if he wont, I will. Kill him, that is.).
Wow..... I always thought that the body styling of the basic 4000's was a little too far out, but this 4005 is a bass version of the worlds most beautiful guitar, the 360.

Kent, there just happens to be one on eBay right now, and I know that at least one Forum member plans on adding it to his collection. It's a $10K Buy It Now. Time to refinance the Rolls.
