ebay alert under vintage Rickenbacker in hard shell case. hes advertising this bass as a 72 ,I'm so tired i emailed this guy and just told him its not a 72 i was too tired to explain everything that a 72 would have, somebody else email him,its got 4 days left,black-the only 72 Ive ever seen with all the transitional stuff on it...

Other negatives:

(1) zero-feedback seller

(2) pictures are very low res, so one cannot copy them and look at them blown up for details

Forget the details - it's a late '70s/early '80s 4001. And then there's the classic line "I'm selling it for a friend". How typical.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I e-mailed this guy in Charlestown WV a couple of days ago and he's never responded......

It is only about a 1/2 hour drive ....but why bother....
