Janglebox Review - Incredible!!!!!!
Well, after Fedex tried to drop off three times (no one home to sign for the package) I finally got it today. WOW, WOW, and WOW!!!! Steve - you did an incredible job with this compressor. I plugged my 370/12 into it and started with MTM, EMH, TTT, etc. It DEFINATELY nails the Byrds/McGuinn sound perfectly. You're right. There really is no reason to put two in line together. One does the job just fine. I tried some of my other guitars into it (Teles, Strats, Country Gent, Tennessean, Casino) and they all sound great through the Janglebox.
This box is a winner folks. If you're looking for the Byrds jingle-jangle, this is the magic box that will get you there for sure!
Thanks for a great product Steve. Well worth the investment.

I got mine a couple of days ago. After some adjustments here and there I got just the sound I was looking for. The JangleBox is incredible! Thanks, Steve, the slight wait was worth it!

Many, many thanks for the terrific reviews, John and Stan. I'm very glad JangleBox is working so well for you both. We're now talking to two other circuit assemblers to try and increase production. I'll admit that I'm a little obsessive about quality control, lol! Really appreciate your patience and understanding. Sales have been incredible.
I don't know about the 650D, but you can hear JangleBox played with humbuckers at:

Well.......
I just got my Janglebox. I want SOOO much to like it, but to be honest I've not yet been able to get the jangle sounds like I thought I could. Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
I'm playing a Ric 360/6 into a Vox AC15.
What I experience with the Janglebox is that its just supressing the sound.... ie: the harder you strum the more it supresses it. I've played with the different settings but just cant seem to get the jangle out if it.
Reading the reviews and listening to the clips, I have to believe that the problem is with me, not the box......???
Steve, any ideas/suggestions?

Well, first of all, JangleBox should be adding a ton of sustain without rolling off any of the highs. The "jangle" sound is, of course, somewhat subjective. Any compressor, by definition, reduces dynamic range, but your tone shouldn't be "surpressed". Try opening the attack and gain to their max, and adding the treble boost. Then back off until your tone sounds the way you want it. One of the best things about JangleBox, imo, is its simplicity.
If you find you just don't like it, by all means, send it back for a refund. I can barely keep JBs in stock as it is.
