There is a superficial resemblance between that guitar and some RIC design features but calling it a Rick copy is a little bit of a stretch, no?

From the horns to the pickguard, from the pickups and bridge to the general body shape, it's much more like a semihollow version of a doublecut Les Paul Junior. The soundhole is the only remote resemblance to a Rick.

I dunno, I think their going for the Gibson, Gretch, with a hint of Rickenbacker look.

It doesn't infringe anything, if that's the question. The sound hole is indeed the closest element to a RIC but that of course is based on 1890's northern German guitar design.

I think that the inspiration for the "Killer" could also have come from this 1967 Yamaha SB2-A:
