What where the beginning and end years for the v63?

Sorry, I'm the new Kid in Town and seem to have missed something here. What WERE the production years for the V63? I didn't actually see the answer at that link? :^>) Thanks,

Welcome Rich, I believe they where from 84 to 1999?

I think the last year was 2001. Sea Green was Color of the Year in 2000 and there were around 10 v63s made in that color.

Mine is serial # 7412 so I'd assume it was fairly early on?

By the way, I really appreciate the fact that this forum is so friendly. Is it due to the fact that Ric folks are a special breed.......or because, as we all know, bass players in general are the highest form of musical life? :^>)
