Stickers don't usually light-stain plexi, and even if they do - it'd have to be there years and years in rather bright lightning conditions...

Henny, that is a very good idea, just a little hard to do that with this one.

Andy, congrats on the 4Cii! Trans red? Hey, make an "open it with me" picture post!

Nice bass Joey. I love the color, just not the Pickup placement.

Email right back at you Andy, and thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks Nate. I think the gold hardware and the trans red finish look great together. I wish I could get the figure in the wood to show up in pictures. For some reason, the figure is camera shy. LOL
I like the pickup placement, it makes my two 5Cii basses have slightly different voices. It looks a little funny to me, just because I got used to seeing the p/up placement on the mapleglo for 7 months before the trans red arrived.

Well, two basses with different pickup placement and different voices is good. I'm a 4001/4003 kind of person and I'm used to the pickup placement on those two. I still think the neck pickup is still a little close but I've gotten used to it. I would get a 4004 if I could get it to sound like a 4003. I'll try to get the 4004 Cii Jetglo from Mike Parks if nobody buys it first. Trans Red or just Red on that bass, it still looks amazing!

I also thought the "open it with me" picture post was a good idea and incredibly funny. Just the look on your face most of the time.

"...I still think the neck pickup is still a little close..."

Well I guess you'll never get used to a 4005! Image

Jeffrey, you probably don't have any problems with getting good low end sound with that neck pickup, eh?

Beautiful bass! I am a jetglo fan... it's my second favorite finish, after midnight blue.

I would still use that bass though. I like how the pickup sticks out. I use my pickups as thumb rests. I play over the neck pick up alot on my 4001 and that gets to be annoying, but I deal with it.
