Anyone ever see this before?

If the guitar were to undergo a full refin, would something like that "Oxy-Clean" stuff work on the stain once the existing finish is removed? Or does it depend on the substance that created the stain? Can that type of cleaner be applied on bare wood?
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

As far as I remember from previous threads and I could be wrong, but I believe this type of stain that sinks into the wood is pretty much permanent.
