Writing under the pickups

Excellent advice, Joey! My old soundman was able to retrieve some stolen PA gear from a pawnshop because he had inscribed his name and other info inside the outer casings... imagine the crooks' surprise when the local police uncorked that bit of evidence....

When I finally get back home from this road trip and 'pop the hood' on my 4003's, I am planning to physically inscribe my initials and a password or some other info somewhere under there for just that purpose.

I've always done that on all my basses. That's what pickup cavities and neck pockets are for!
