We discussed how several folks here were interested in a Blueburst C64. I don't know if he has THAT much clout with Rickenbacker.

Ron,

Congrats on the C64S, when you finally get it, Russ and I would love to see it. I'm flying out to Columbus this weekend, but maybe we could get together at the store sometime the following week. Sorry that I haven't kept in touch lately, but I just started a new job, and I'm getting used to taking the Metro again! One again, congrats!

Ron,
If you are flying to Columbus this weekend for the confluence, it is the weekend AFTER this! Image Just want to save you any heartaches if that is the case!

Russ still wants to see my '73 also. Well I have to run by the shop this week to pick up my 381v69 and drop another one off for a neck adjustment.

One of these days we'll meet at the shop. Can you do it on a Saturday? I haven't been able to work at Chantilly for a while.

Jeff,

Yeah, I know that the confluence is next weekend, but I will be there in spirit. My wife and I are flying to Columbus to celebrate her college roommates' 20th wedding anniversary. Oh well, just bad timing! I hope that everyone has a wonderful time, and take lots of pictures!

We'll be thinking of you! Send a pic of you and your bass and we'll hang it on a wall.

Ouch! Tough Crowd! I'd send my photo, but you could probably get a copy at the local Post Office.

Well it was waiting fo rme when I got home from work today. Chris was right, it does have a sweet neck! I've played it for about the past hour and had to put it down so I can get ready for Tae Kwon Do. The reverse headstock doesn't look so bad now that I've seen it in person.

Well that's one more for the arsenal!

Mike Parks had a c64 in Jetglo. John Hall has stated here that all models come in Jetglo. In this case it may have been ordered that way. From my understanding they make some jetglo's when the wood is of quality to make the bass, but may have some visual blemishes that wouldn't look good with mapleglo or fireglo.

Either way, that bass will be a rare bird. Enjoy Ron...
