Pick of the Ricks
got another nice Ric from Pick of the Ricks. Chris has raised the bar as far as what a reputable 'pre-owned' dealer will do. He went to several different shippers to get a deal for me. NJ to HI for $60. Some guys charge more for ground. I once bought a 4001V63 from an 'Elderly' dealer that was describes as 'near new'. Wood fibers exposed, repaired electronics, bent key-yeah new. But when Chris says mint-it IS mint. Thanks to guys like these who keep the industry focused-thanks Chris!
Buy it before someone else does
I, too, have heard many good things about Chris. I hope to relieve him of some of his inventory before long. He has responded to several of my emails about his guitars and seems like a good guy to do business with. I also like Mike at The Music Connection.
Nothing compares to the sound of a Rick 12 with a JangleBox and a touch of chorus.

I bought a 4003 and a 4001v63 from Chris last year. He is a pleasure to do business with, and his prices are tough to beat. At the Washington Guitar Show last September, I really enjoyed talking to Chris and his wife Barbara. We must have talked for about an hour and a half. If he ever gets in another 4001CS in stock, that sucker is mine!!!

Chris told me he was planning to be in Spartanburg again this year. I am planning to go and hope to meet him, too! Since my last post in this chain (6-10-01) I have recently acquired my third Rick from him. He is a rare find in the marketplace.

It's great to see all these comments. I just visited the Pick Of The Ricks and am impressed by the selection and the fair pricing. Nice work Chris!
