"Joey, I am originally from Southern California and it IS freezing when it's under 70! It is also a HEATWAVE when it's over 80!"

...yeah Mike, here I often see the same people here turn the heat in the middle of the night and morning, then use air conditioning in the afternoon. Image

"As far as i remember he had funky wide legged stance with the bass in the middle of his body, but a fast finger picker."

Yep, that was him. I described him as hyperactive because he was chain smoking before going onstage, and then chewed gum furiously the entire time he was playing....even while singing backup.

Oh, and the band that played before us had a bass player with a JG 4001. The Foghat sound guy told me he had never seen so many Rickenbackers in one night (a total of two). He also commented on my bass, saying that he had never seen a Rick 5-string before.

Ok, so it's not my Rick anymore, but it was last week when these were taken...it used to play Brit Rock...now it plays Canadian Rock. "The Torch is Passed"...

Steve, according to the buyer, it is.

Paul, "I'm not dead yet..."

Jeff, if Geddy was a nerd!...I probably have one somewhere where I look more like Rutherford...

Beautiful bass, Scanman! That's a very well-composed picture, too, with the red shirt, Fender stack in the background. Nice!
