Yes, midnight blue with white trim is really nice, I had one and had to sell it unfortunately, was really a beautiful classy looking bass, on the other hand I hate it with black trim, reminds me of a bruise, haha! I would consider getting another Midnight Blue with with white trim though, they do look much nicer in person, the finish is brilliant. I also love the jetglo's with black trim and the white's with white trim, simplicity.
I have a fretless 4003 Blue Boy coming.

In an outdoor situation, or under bright stage lights, the blueboy finish is subtle enough to come about as close to white on white as you will find.

Ok I was sleeping during all of that. I want a solid color bass. I'm already getting a bass with the wood showing through from Dave Pushic so I'm set on a natural bass.

I love the BT on the "Blue Beast" but Jetglo still gets to me. Rath, I probably would take the taped up bass. It just seem simple to me. The red white and blue pic... I'd take the red or blue. Plus they're real 5ers. I would rader have a 4003s... anyone have an "s" bass for sale? If I got one of those I could try to do a BT sort of thing to it and I wouldn't have white binding to worry about.

That Blue Boy looks great in white!

If the Blue Boy was white, would it be a White Boy?

Nate, I have 4003's in both Midnight Blue and Jetglo.

Both finishes are beautiful - they are my top 2 favorites - good picks, both.

Jetglo is classic and beautiful. Simple and powerful, always looks right.

Midnight Blue is my favorite, though. Especially with the white binding - it is stunning how good it looks. Chris P and the others were right about that, and it is true how much better it even looks in person. The Midnight Blue has a metal flake in the finish that is fantastic in person. And, like Brian mentioned, the Mid Blue really grows on you too. I would vote Midnight Blue, but you can't go wrong with either!

Here is a photo with the midnight blue that shows a little of the sparkle. Not a great photo, but it shows how cool the metal flake in the finish looks:

You can't go wrong with either Midnight Blue or Jetglo!

Along with the cool bass, it also looks like you've got a great rig behind you, Dean!
