24th in Nottingham. I'd be there.
I would suggest a start time of say 2pm. That would allow those of us that travel a good time to get there. We could then go on through the afternoon & evening.
Who would organise it in Nottingham?

I am London-based American and you guys sound fun. Have no problem showing my pride and joys wherever, whenever as long as Guinness is closeby.

Guinness is one of the many reasons why I could never move back and why many of my friends want to fly over for a visit!! A toast to the "toasters" my friends. Nuthin' else comes close.

Technically, it's stout Howard. I like it, along with Murphys & ANY real ale.....

I am a Guinness drinker too. The worst glass of it that I have ever had in my life was in a bar in Memphis. I was with Graham (8mileshigh), it was so bad that we couldn't drink it between us!

I managed to find a single bottle of Theakston's Old Peculier in a grubby motel in Milwaukee, once.
enough, already.

Philip, I could send you another bottle but I don't know how well it would travel.

Im ok for the 24th.

Went to see the UK SUBS last night. I went to reminisce as I used to be a big fan of them as a 14 year old. I saw them in 79 and now as a nearly 40 year old I went to see the same lineup play again 26 years on. My tired ears arent up to it now, and seeing Charlie Harper on stage as a 64 year old PUNK was surreal ! Anyway reason for mentioning was that Alvin Gibbs the bass player was playing a jetglo 4001, very nice but needed a bit more clank/top to cut through Nicky Garretts huge guitar sound. I should have asked him if he was available on the 24th July!
