If I had enough money I would get that. But I won't because: 1. I'm poor. 2. I'd mod the 'ell out of it.

That is a fairly rare color for the V. I have one just like it. Hopefully it will go to a forumite.

I want one someday, I'll put a black vintage guard and black TRC on it though.

That's what I would have done, but put the 4003 high gains in it, Badass 2 bridge and M4 tuners. But I don't have enough money and I wouldn't want to destroy it.

There's a fireglo 4003S at http://www.paulsboutique.ca here in Toronto. A few nicks and bumps, but still in pretty good shape.

I'd rather have a Jetglo one.

The V63 jetglo. Black vintage guard and black TRC, put the 4003 high gains in it, Badass 2 bridge and schaller M4 tuners. I don't like the standard Ric tail piece/bridge or the clover tuners.

But that would be crazy. I'd do that to a 4003s or a normal 4003. I wouldn't want to destroy a rare color bass like that V63.

Nothing wrong with it now, IMHO, but if you have to change something, maybe swap the white plastic parts for a gold guard (clear lucite with gold spray painted back) and vintage gold TRC, and oven knobs - "Lennon mods" on a 4001v63. Easily reversible and not outrageously expensive.

Nice! CAN$1,150 = US$930, not a bad price. Here's a link to the actual bass.

Forget the Badass bridge, get this as it is a direct drop in fit.

This is a test and so far I am pleased with it. Not having the mute superstructure is very nice for palm muting and just playing close to the bridge.
