MONO trade?

Post by revolver »

I have mono cdr copies of Revolver, Pepper and the White album (the revolver one is extremely good quality!)

Anyone have Help! and/or Rubber Soul that they would be willing to trade?

Who made them? Dr. Ebbetts, MirrorSpock...or?

I don't have Help! but I do have a Mono Rubber Soul from the Silent Sea/Secret Trax Soul Sessions. Quality isn't bad but I wouldn't rate it as high as some other titles I've listened to.

I don't know the origins of my mono Revolver but the quality is excellent. Pepper and White Album sound like they're right off of vinyl. Quality isn't that great, but they're still interesting to listen to.

What's on the DVD? Wav files?

I haven't received any response on this and I was wondering if it was because of the "bootleg" nature of my request. Rest assured I do not want any monetary exchange for said items, they are purely for personal listening and educational purposes.

These records were at one time commercially available, nothing stolen from the EMI vaults.

As you probably know, the Beatles were present for the mono mixes of their records and left the stereo mixes for Geoff Emerick after they went home. This is why I'm interested in the mono mixes and probably why they are so often superior to the stereo mixes of the same songs.

I'm looking for mono CDR copies of Help! and/or Rubber Soul.

I would be willing to trade CDR copies of Revolver, Pepper and the White album (the revolver one is extremely good quality!) that I have.

Thanks.
