Kent you are probably right on the Trc problem solution for gold.
Jim has pickguardian solved the fitment problem yet?

Dan,

No, I didn't ask him to. When I sent him my cracked 480 guard as a template, it came back a perfect fit. The advice is to send your guard... Great work though.

Jim I'll have to get with Jeff later then. I'm thinking seriously of changing though. The gold seems like it would go well with Montezuma Glo well.

Jim,

I'd be happy to replace the guard set if you want to send me the originals to duplicate. As you all know, there is sometimes a great deal of variation on Rickenbackers, even from one year to the next. My templates are based on actual Rick guards whenever possible and should fit most models. The safest way is to send the original guards in for duplication.

Thanks,
Tony

Tony,

Thanks for the offer. No need to. I only use the top guard and it slightly overhangs the lower but no biggie. Not worth the trouble and I wasn't blaming you but the variation.

I'll be getting you to do a 4001 for me soon.

Hope you are doing well.

I LOVE WHITE ON WHITE! I'm a buyer of a new Rick if it were offered again. I don't like the black hardware at all.

My bad Tony I thought that you and Jeff were the same company. Will your gold ones fit a 03 Montezuma Glo 360/6 stock?

I'd say gold on jetglo is a nice combo.

That moves Ricks into Strat-a-like territory, Greg! (smiley declined)

I have a memory of a mid 1960s Ford finish that was Mint Green.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm
