So this Blackstar isn't a museum piece. It was loved and played. At least it wasn't butchered or modified. If it were mine I'd clean it well, polish and set it up, but not refinish it. This is one Blackstar that you can take to a gig, be proud and not worry about scratching it or putting a dent in it.

actually if it were selling cheap enough I would buy it and make it a 5'er ... any bass 1986 or later is fair game ... the only ones I stay away from are the ones that are too expensive ... I like to get them from between $700 and $1100 and modify them ... the 2000 series I can sometimes get for $500 ...
