Who's On Deck?

Post by admin »

This photo from John Vallee will immediately set the stage for an extended dissociative experience. Three gorgeous Mapleglos, from left to right, a 1996 370/12 SPC, a 1967 360/12 and a 1989 370/12RM. If you build it they will come. Thanks for hitting this one out of the park, John. Questions anyone?

It looks like the bridge and neck pick-ups are closer together on the middle guitar, compared to the other two.

Extended dissociative experience, Peter?

You talk like a real pro...

The Three Amigos...... lovely!

Interesting variations in colour (sic).

I have a question, Peter: Can I have one? (only one - I'm not a greedy person)....

If Peter gave you a choice, which one would you want, Howard....Steve, Chevy or Martin?

Howard: Let's see which one John will give away.
Stan: Brilliant.

Chevy is kind of old, and balding, but he has a nice neck.

Steve, very perceptive. There is a bit of a difference in the bridge pickup positioning on '60s 'vs '80s guitars.

Is it me, or do the upper horns look rounder on the left most one, then the RM, then the middle one?

I would like to apologize for my insensitive attempt at poor humor in my last post. I sincerely hope I didn't offend anyone. My apologies to all.

John: I don't think anyone was offended by your post. But your sensitivity is appreciated. Please tell us about your 12 strings and the difference you find in sound and playability, if any, for each one of them.

John, us old and balding guys don't take offense at the nonsense you young whippersnappers cook up.

I'd like a Chevy, but not that one!!

Not insensitive, John.... a fact!!

This balding business is a worry..... I've noticed that I've lost hair since I bought my two Ricks and my hairline is receding. What's gonna happen when I get two or three more??

Love the 3 MGs!!

I'm definitely no stranger to losing hair. I had a prominent bald spot 20 years ago in high school!

I got tired of cleaning out my bathtub drain every week, so I shaved the rest off...
