I emailed the guy about the incorrect pickups and he gave me a BS story about how instruments left Fender, RIC, and Gibson all the time with non-current parts. Nice try...

I'm not sure why he has such a fan base on this forum. I see a guy who sells modified gear as original and uses his cute listings to divert attention from that fact.

I agree. I for one am not a fan.
A Rickenbacker bass is much like the Jaguar E car - perennially ultra-fashionable.

I have certainly voiced my displeasure at his advertising "techniques", not to mention he now seems to be stockpiling Rics and re-selling them at a few hundred more than he bought them for. How can you not like the guy?
