I want a 3 pickup 4000 series bass! i would mod my bass into one but I don't want to destroy it.

Yep....Jeff saw it first. I had to tell somebody from the forum and since he is local and we talked on the phone a few times I drove it by his lab a few hours after I got it so somebody could tell me that I wasn't dreaming!

Nate....if you want a 3rd pickup for your 4001/4003 you can get a Bart that mounts in the mute cavity....you may have to route a little but nothing too major and it's not visible if you switch it back to stock.
