Here is the Saturday gang minus Randy Hawkins, he was at a gig but showed up later for Fitzy's!

Image

Jeffrey Scott, Marc Seligman, Tony Dudzik, Mike Guiterrez, Paul Boyer, Steve Brodbeck, Ted Staberow and Chris Pappas!

Brian Crisman is also not represented here as he couldn't get back on Saturday.

Great pics , Jeff!

Wasn't it nice to have sooooo many great basses to pick up and play? I mean, , a LEMMY, a 4002, several 4005's, 4004's , vintage 4001's, 4003's, a 2030 , a 4000......and a couple of Ric guitars as well...

I'm looking forward to whatever next year's confluence might bring???

With RIC's 75th anniversary coming next year, I'm wondering if we'll have all have to turn towards Mecca and have a California confluence??? I'm in WHEREVER it's location!!!

Wow Jeffery. Great shot! Wish I could have been there. I bet you never realized you were that short huh? Now what basses do I want? The shadow... the 4005 jetglo... the... wait... I want all of them! The first two more than the others though.

"I bet you never realized you were that short huh?"

Funny you should mention that as we were talking about our sizes at Fitzy's!

I do make up for my height in other areas, but that is for the chicks with the Ricks only! Image

LOL!!! Good one! When a few of my friends found out I played bass they said the bass was bigger than I am. I feel short, 5'6", but I am bigger than my bass.

Looks like I missed a great time on Saturday. It would have been nice to get to chat some more. I felt like I had some friends here before but it is certainly nicer to talk in person and just ramble ideas and jokes rather than carefully picking words to type so you aren't misunderstood. Chris, Mike, Tony, Marc, Randy, Jeff, Ted and Paul......Cheers !

When we started, each persons stuff was set up separately but within 2 hours instruments, stands, tools, and just about everything else was moving freely about the room and no one was the least bit concerned. I completely trusted everyone with my stuff and I think the others had the same level of trust with me. It was like we had known each other for years. Randy left his '65 with us when he went to his gig knowing that it would be looked after. The whole thing is really quite remarkable, if you think about it.

I went to Fitzy's for an omelette on sunday. It was good, but not the same without the guys..

Noticed an ad in the local paper for Rickenbacker Intl airport. Seems that Columbus has many ties to the Rickenbacker name. Randy can explain more.
