Peter M., you asked me before what kind of 12 string I was looking for...I'm thinkin' one like these. It might take a while...

OK, Here goes. I'll try to keep this as short as possible. An un-scientific a,b,c comparison.
The test: recorded each guitar through the same channel on the board to a separate track on tape deck, through an old MXR dyna comp to level the field,[RM was recorded on clean un-compressed setting to further level the field].
Results: '67 was the brightest sounding. The '96 was less bright but had more mid or bottom to it [rounder]. The RM was very close to the '96 with a little less output. Please keep in mind that the strings on these guitars are all a different age, I think that has an effect on the results.
Playability: They're all a joy to play, but I think the '67 is a bit easier to play. Maybe because of the smaller radius of the fretboard, or the string spacing, not sure.
Anyway, I hope this gives you something to ponder. BTW, as far as whippersnappers go, I'm 19 years older than my '67. You do the math.

Is it a Roger McGuinn signature I see on all three guitars? If so, am I wrong to think that the only valid RM model is the third one with the 3 PU's and the nobs in a different position??? Can you explain to me, please!

Yes the 370/12RM is on the right. The others have John's signature in the middle and Roger's signature on the left.

Instead of "You're Fired", I think The Donald should be required to shout "Silence, Whippersnapper!", ala John Bolton...

Whereupon a small dog would materialize and abscond with his pants...

Another irony...my first acting experience was as the Wizard of Oz in my eighth grade play...it has affected my outlook ever since.

Nobody absconded with my pants, but I did poke a nice hole in the Scarecrow's scalp when I granted him "brains" by pinning a sign onto his hat.

His shouted onstage obscenity and the trickle of blood that ran down his forehead between his eyes for all to see, is one of my most cherished childhood memories...
