Just bought a Bass Pod XT

ya ... most 2 band active electronics add low end rumble and high end dink ... but they don't add growl ... and basses like the musicman have 3 band electronics but they are very clean and even though they have a mid control they still don't growl ... the pod is a lot better than the 2 or 3 band preamps in modern basses ...

Well that thread went a long way, alot more than I expected at first !!!!
The try-out of the Bass Pod XT for me just made me realizing one more time that for me, the simpler the better and the use of stompboxes or single effects unit is the way to go, in my opinion. I now don`t believe that you can stuck several good effects in one single multi-effect pedal and that to expect it sounds good, again in my opinion.
I now have a Fulltone Bassdrive, which is really weel built, no noise whatsoever, straight to the point, easy and versatile overdrive and boost. I could tell right away that this is more quality gear.
