Here is Marc Seligman's pair that went AWOL to Hot 'Lanta Friday. They showed up Saturday, after oxygen was administered to Marc. On the left is his new Blue Boy Cheyenne -- probably not many of these to be found. On the right is his customized 4003. Ted added checker binding and an ebony fretboard, Marc added black-trimmed horshoe and humbucking, and Mike Dolan did the refin. Nize!

There's a BB 4004 Cii at the Same Ash in Clearwater Florida. It's been there for about 2+ months now-they want $1200 for it.
It's in pretty decent shape, a little scratch on the headstock was all I could see. Might need a set up as the action was a bit high for my tastes. Otherwise played and sounded well when I tried it out. It's a year 2004 model.

More from Ted. Fireglo theme. On the left is his 2030? (Someday I'm going to be an expert on this stuff -- hopefully by the time the book comes out!), and on the right is his 4008 -- or maybe it's the 4003s8? But pretty all the same.

Walnut is glossy while Autumnglo is matte. They are the same color otherwise. That is indeed a 2030 in the Fireglo pic. The 8'er is a 4003S/8. The 4008 is an older model that has neck binding and different milling on the tail piece. Some of the 4008's I have seen have the octave string on top. Perhaps that was an ordering option? Dunno. Great pics Paul!

Eventually, when I get time, I'll retouch all of Brian's guano with Photoshop. They'll look nice and clean in the book. I just kinda jammed these out on my lunch and after work. The full-size photos (taken with a Nikon 8700 8-meg camera) look great and it will be easy to retouch reflections (bird ****) later.
