I might get a mapleglo Cheyanne next year and throw another volume control in it in place of the switch.

Just get the jetglo Cheyenne II Mike Parks has. Unless you want the chrome parts.

Thanks guys! RIC has really nailed the red - the pic doesn't do it justice.

The Cheyenne is a great bass just as it is. I typically only play my Cii's anymore.

Scott, Mike P has a JG Cii that I thought once or twice, well maybe three times about.

I agree, even though the VVT mod makes sense, the 4004 IMHO is fine the way it is!
