I just might be interested, too!

Twin toasters are the way to go. The lower output is probably due to their age, but they sound great.

After playing the 4005s at the Columbus confluence, it seems that the 4005WBs are around 1/2 to 1 lb. lighter than the standard 4005. The most comfortable bass for gigging.

Jeff, if you could make it to the greater DC/VA/MD area, that would be totally cool. I'll still buy the beer!

Ron, this is totally off topic- but since you mentioned you are a railfan-

Have you been to W. Pratt Street in Baltimore to see the B&O Railroad museum and roundhouse; I went there last month and was amazed.

They have a Western Maryland EMD BL-2 locomotive there; I didn't know WM had any- thought the good 'ol local (to ME) Boston and Maine owned most of 'em-

Back on topic, never played a 4005 but have lusted after them for a long time...

I live near Richmond, so I'd be up for a Metro DC Confluence. I can bring my 4 Ricks for the cause!

Dave, I grew up in Baltimore and have been to the B&O Roundhouse several times. The WM had two BL-2's, although the primary locomotive of choice in that era was either the F7 or RS-3. Western Maryland was a loyal EMD customer.

As for the Confluence, let me see about a bar and date and I'll see what I can put together for the fall. I'm hosting a jam in Perryville, MD July 30th if anyone is interested in attending.
