4003 Shadow/4003S

Post by frode »

What is a 4003 Shadow? Is that the same as 4003S?

No the Shadow has binding where and S will not. The binding on a Shadow will be checkerboard and black. The Shadow has dot markers as does the "S", however the Shadow has black markers and the "S" will have pearl. Basically a Shadow is a standard jetglo 4003 with BT, check binding and a dotted/bound fretboard. Rumour is there were somewhere around 50 Shadows produced in '86 for a Guitar Center anniversary
a couple of Shadows a Blackstar and an Annie.
